A five-minute stand-alone task is not always practical to schedule by itself. But one real repair—or several smaller items handled during the same visit—can make good sense for everyone.
If we are already repairing drywall and a small area of exterior trim, it may also make sense to adjust that sticking door or take care of another simple item while we are there instead of scheduling several separate service calls.
Small wall repairs are one of the most common places to start.
Drywall damage can come from plumbing access, electrical work, leaks that have already been corrected, impact damage or previous repairs that need to be cleaned up.

Not every stair repair needs a complete deck project.
A limited staircase, railing, landing or porch component can sometimes be repaired or rebuilt on its own. If the surrounding structure is damaged too, we can adjust the repair based on what is actually there.

Some repair lists cross into more than one kind of work.
Simple painting, plumbing-related or electrical-related items can sometimes be handled as part of a larger repair list. When the work requires a licensed plumber, electrician or another specialist, we can coordinate the right person when appropriate.
Minor painting and touch-up work that goes along with the repairs we are already completing.
Simple fixture or repair items may fit the project; work that requires a licensed plumber is handled with the appropriate plumber.
Simple associated items may fit within a grouped project; work that requires a licensed electrician is handled with the appropriate electrician.
The goal is to keep you from making four separate calls when one well-organized project can take care of the list.

If a repair uncovers a bigger problem, we help work through the next step instead of simply leaving you with a new problem.
If a limited repair is all the home needs, the goal is to fix that repair—not manufacture a larger project.
If the homeowner later needs decks, remodeling, structural work or another larger project, the relationship is already established.

Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. Smaller home repairs and grouped repair lists are part of what we do, along with larger carpentry, deck, structural and remodeling projects.
Is there a minimum project size?
We do not post a one-size-fits-all minimum because travel, access, materials and the type of work all matter. A very small stand-alone task may not make sense by itself, but grouping several items together often does.
Can I send you a list of several unrelated repairs?
Yes. That is often the best approach. Send the complete list and we can determine which items fit together, whether a plumber, electrician or another specialist is needed, and whether a site visit makes sense.
Do you repair drywall?
Yes. Localized drywall patches, access-hole repairs, wall and ceiling repairs and associated trim or paint-ready finish work can all be considered.
Do you handle minor plumbing or electrical items?
Simple associated items may fit into a grouped repair project. Work that requires a licensed plumber, electrician or another specialist is handled with the appropriate contractor.
What if a small repair turns out to be a bigger problem?
We explain what we found and how it changes the repair. Because we also handle carpentry, structural repairs and remodeling, many problems can grow into a larger project without you having to start over with a different contractor.
