One bad window does not mean you need a house full of new ones.
A single window can rot, leak, stop working or be damaged while the rest of the house is perfectly fine. The same is true for exterior doors. We handle one-off replacements and repairs around the opening as well as larger window and door projects.
Sometimes one window really is the whole job.

Sometimes the project is bigger than simply swapping one door for another.
Here, an existing triple sliding-door opening was rebuilt for double doors with a window on each side, then trimmed and finished back into the exterior so the new layout looked intentional.
Sometimes the problem is not the window—it is the wall around it.
Water around a window or door can damage trim, sheathing and framing that you cannot see from the room. Replacing the unit without fixing that damage can leave the real problem behind.

A good installation should work well, keep weather out and look finished.

Existing framing and sill conditions should provide a suitable opening for the new unit.
Weather-resistant details should be appropriate to the opening and surrounding exterior system.
Siding, trim and cladding around the opening need to transition cleanly back into the home.
Jambs, casing, drywall and paint-ready repairs complete the installation from the inside.
Older openings are rarely perfect.
If the opening is damaged, out of square or being changed to a new size or layout, framing work may be needed before the new window or door can be installed correctly.

Yes. We consider individual window replacement and repair projects. You do not need to replace every window in the home just because one unit is damaged or failing.
Do you replace exterior doors?
Yes. Exterior entry doors, French doors, double-door openings and doors with sidelights can all be considered depending on the project and existing opening.
What if there is rot around the window or door?
Rot or water damage around an opening may require removal of trim, siding or other finishes so the damaged sheathing or framing can be repaired before the installation is completed.
Can you change the size of a window or door opening?
Potentially. Changing the size of an opening can require new framing and, depending on the wall, may also require engineering or a permit. We need to understand the existing structure before deciding how the opening can be changed.
Do you finish the trim after the installation?
Yes, when included in the project. We can handle related interior and exterior trim, jamb work, drywall repairs and paint-ready finishing around the opening.
Do you install customer-supplied windows or doors?
Yes, in many cases. The unit still needs to fit the opening and suit the project, so measurements, configuration and installation requirements should be confirmed before ordering whenever possible.
